Printing using the Unix Server printer

With a RISC-OS 2 printer driver...

Use the !PrinterPS (PostScript) printer driver.  After starting up, menu on
the printer icon and select 'File'.  Move to the 'File' submenu and enter
the filename 'nfs#Printer::unix_e' if you are connected by econet in the
main office, or 'nfs#Printer::unix' if you are connected by Ethernet in the
R&D area.  Then click on the 'Save choices' menu item.  You can now drop
files onto the printer driver and they will be printed on the unix server's
printer.


With a RISC-OS 3 printer driver...

Use the !PrinterPS (PostScript) printer driver.  After starting up, menu on
the printer icon and select 'NFS'.  Move to the 'NFS' submenu and enter the
settings: Server is 'unix_e' if you are connected by econet in the main
office, or 'unix' if you are connected by Ethernet in the R&D area.  Printer
is 'lp'; Username should be 'nobody'; Options should be blank.  Then click
on the 'Save choices' option.  You can now drop files onto the printer
driver and they will be printed on the unix server's printer.
