When selecting the Files menu, the program kept crashing with a 'Buffer overflow' error, and the machine hung. If the program was run from the floppy, it worked ok. If it was run on another machine, it worked on that ok as well. The problem turns out to be that the hard disk was too big! The machine was an A5000 with a 120MB IDE disk. There are only eight spaces available for the free space value on the files display, and 110MB needs nine digits to be displayed. This was causing the crash. The solution is to 'waste' some space on the hard disk to make sure that the amount of free space is less that 100000000 bytes. The following will do: *Create adfs::4.BugFix 1000000 (that's six zeros) This will remove 16MB of disk space. In the future, when the amount of free space drop below, say, 60MB, the file can safely be deleted. I think it would be sensible for you to add this note to the addendum/ errata slip at the front of the Studio24+ manual. Otherwise, it initially seems to be an excellant product. Keep up the good work. Jonathan Harston
