In 2003 the comp.sys.spectrum Spectrum FAQ underwent a major redesign. Part of this resulted in the removal of information on some emulator and file formats. Some of this information was stuff that had taken me ages to find and/or document myself.However, rather than complain and try and start a campaign to have them put back (my initial knee-jerk reaction), I thought it would be better if I archived the more technical and esoteric information that ended up not being in the FAQ. After all, the FAQ is Frequently Asked Questions.
Initally, these pages are versions of the relevant pages from the old FAQs. In fact, the old FAQs are available as archives from various sources, including here.
