(Here we go again.)

The unit is intended for 8" drives with AC motors, such as Shugart
800, 801, 850; Siemens FD-100-8, FD-200-8; etc.  Most of these drives
have their motors constantly spinning, making the Optronics controller
a rather nice idea.
