Subject: Leicester RCM Show

I can't make it because of children's birthday events, unfortunately.

Nice to see a mention of a compact Mac. I have a bunch of them
(looking straight at an SE right now), but don't remember seeing any
at any of these events. Fantastic little machines.

I had three Nimbuses once, with keyboards, but two were definitely
faulty and the other wouldn't boot past the welcome screen with the
disk I made from a downloaded image. I got them along with the job lot
of Beebs and Cubs (and Amstrad PC1640 and CBM 8050 floppy drive) from
Wales, I mentioned them ages ago on the list when it turned out that
most of those were faulty too. I ended up selling the Nimbuses on eBay
to a bloke who was collecting any that he could find, so mine would be
useful for spares. I think he was located in Berkshire somewhere - I
can't quite remember now, even though I delivered them myself!
