It may be that your Master has the same problem as mine - is it vertical
columns of keys that stop working?

The keyboard on mine is basically fine, but the ribbon cables connecting it
to the main board are not very reliable, and I often have one column drop
out on me. I improved the worst column by attacking the cables with a
soldering iron (to solder the offending ribbon wire to the IDC pin), but
still have problems with other columns.
At Retro-Reunited it was the "QAZ" section that stopped, while last week
the "TGV" are wasn't working.

I don't suppose anyone knows a source of replacement ribbon cables? - I
could adapt some standard dual-row IDCs, but I'd prefer to be able to have
more authentic single row, double spaced ribbons, as per the originals.
