I think you may have had one with cut down cables. I've got 2 Music
500/5000's and the ribbon is quite long enough, as well as actually having a
loop through connector on the back, (unlike a lot of other stuff). I've
never had a Music 2000, (if anybody has one going spare, ler me know,
because I'm actually going to use the Music 5000's as part of an electronic
music rig, and would love to get the MIDI going too.

Have you got all the software for them ? If not, some is on line, and I can
help with ROM images etc. I have some spare Master 128 Keys as well -
they're not too hard to change out.
