I've had a few reports about this same problem, with the previous zip
file as well. I could download them all without problem when I tested,
so this is rather curious.

I think I'll split up the archive in a few parts next update, maybe that
helps.

I've been moving a few more ROMs into the right directories (e.g.
terminal by Martin to 'Computer_concepts') and I've been checking some
disc doctor files. Various were simply hacked to change keyword names; I
also found that disc doctor 1.0B in the TBL archive is a hacked one). I
will keep all hacked ones I found in subdirectories, esp. to recognize
already encountered files on disks from other sources.

I'm not sure how many people still use modems, but at the moment posting
it as a single big zip or at most a few big zips is the easiest method
for me. A CVS type system (but one whith file rename/moving) would be
useful to keep track of changes I suppose, but probably overkill if I'm
the only one doing this sort of thing (+ would have to be installed then
on the webserver so people can do a 'checkout').

Regarding a CVS type system: this can be used also to keep an entire
website in. I'd really like to see all the separate efforts on the web
regarding the BBC micro (bbc lives, beebgames.com, stairway to hell,
8bit, my own stuff, bbc doc project) into one website. This would mean
less problems with motivation and maintenance (multiple people with
commit access for various sections etc. so updates don't depend on a
single person). Specific/personal things can still be kept on people's
own websites.

Regards,

Wouter
