No, but I'd guess swapping the CPU/FPU and crystal is enough. I read
somewhere long ago about upgrading for ADFS. There was some timing
problem which went away at 10MHz, 6MHz was too slow for some reason. I'm
not sure where I read this, as I never really paid attention to this
stuff (never expected to get hold of one).

As to board diffs, as per the Atom PCB diagram, it seems letters were
used by Acorn for pre production machines. I have a BBC labeled issue H.
On the bottom it says "Serial number",  "R&D ANC05 150". It makes sense
for later issues to not have the BBC label, as it would really be pretty
much useless and Acorn saved some money I guess, by labelling it
'cambridge' (-> licence fee for all use of the 'BBC').

If the PCBs of the 32016 are 4 layer or even more, then it would be hard
to spot differences between them.

Btw, I think I remember those whitechapels from magazine articles...
Large b&w screens, used as graphics workstations?

I've placed diskimages from Mike Tomlinson and some pictures here:

Speed tests for Basic to come. Diskimage 1 works, others not yet tested.
C/Fortran are of most interest to me to do high level and FP speed
comparison with other CPUs, so any info on how to use them is welcome.
