Subject: Disk images, .inf files, and DFS floppy disks under DOS & Windows

If you use disk images, DFS file images (.inf), or even DFS floppies, the
latest version 2.7 (12 Oct 2002) of OmniDisk is now available.

OmniDisk is a generic uPD765 disk reader for DOS/Windows, with special
support for Acorn DFS (see DFS.txt in archive). This includes '*' commands.

In this latest version, you can:

Copy from DOS .inf files to disk images (ambiguous filenames supported).
Copy from DOS .inf files to DFS floppy disks.
Copy the other way - from disk image to .inf file.
Or from floppy disk to .inf file.
Backup DFS floppy to disk image.
'Backup' disk image to DFS floppy.
Create blank DFS disk images.
Use almost all DFS '*' commands.

This new version includes support generally for:
DFS floppy disks (DOS, Windows3, Windows 95-ME)
DFS disk image files (DOS, Windows3, Windows95-ME, WindowsNT, 2000, XP)
DFS .inf files (DOS, Windows3, Windows95-ME, WindowsNT, 2000, XP)
Plus all formats previously recognised (sector access).

The latest version is at http://www.shlock.u-net.com/Utils/OmniDisk.zip.
