Modern PC monitors wont sync to the BBC's antiquated signal I'm afraid.

Typical PC outputs run at 60 - 80 Hz vertical sync rate, and 30kHz+
horizontal sync.
The BBC outputs 50 Hz vertical sync (with interlace) and 15kHz horizontal
sync.
Some old multi-sync monitors can stretch to cover this difference in range,
but I doubt any modern monitors will.

The only practical way to get a BBC's output on a PC monitor would be some
sort of timebase corrector, or probably less expensive would be a PC with a
TV capture card...
