Subject: Re: Disk Drive Problem

You guys can count yourselves lucky, my BBC blew up this morning! I switched
it on, messed with some basic, pressed break and FREEZE!!! Oh, thaught I. I
switched it off and on again, but all I got was a long beep( which, I may
add, did not want to stop!). Does anybody have an idea what could cause
this? I think a chip has blown..... any help???

Alan
