Subject: Master 128 fault - can anyone help?

Hi All,

Just recently dusted off my old Master 128 to do some file
conversion stuff.

At first everything was a bit screwed up because I had removed
the backup batteries when I stored it. After plugging them back
in and reconfiguring everything looked good.

Only problem is, the sideways ram no longer works properly.

A simple test produces the following results......

1) Save a copy of the inbuilt View rom to disk.
2) *UNPLUG the rom copy of View.
3) *SRLOAD VIEW 8000 6 (load disk copy into sideways ram)
4) *WORD (run View)

View initially seems to start fine, but when you press <ESCAPE>
to go into the edit page, the screen is either corrupted, or the
machine hangs.

Similar symptoms occur with various other rom images.

Needless to say, the ROM copy of View works fine.

If anyone has any of the following things that might help to track
this down, please let me know:

1) Master 128 circuit diagrams
2) Master 128 diagnostics disk
3) Any suggestions as to what might be wrong......

Thanks in advance,

Andy.

P.S. The 64k of main memory seems okay, but the 64k SWR is hosed.
Does anyone know which of the four 41464 ram chips form the
SWR banks?
