Normally I'd agfree with you, but when you're writing assembler under a 
fantastic integrated debugger (like the one in Turbo Pascal, for 
example!) then it's actually almost *easier* to follow when you're using 
registers as registers as I am.

I agree 100%; I don't see what's wrong with developing two 
simultaneously. My only problem is that I don't think I'll be up to 
writing any of the detailed VIA chip stuff and I haven't found anyone who 
can!

Well, I've got a 'B' user guide (pretty technical in bits) and a master 
compact user guide (err... crap). That's it for me, I'm afraid! I'm 
hoping to borrow an advanced user guide from a friend in the beeb world...
